Introducing Narita...

Posted on June 09, 2015
Meet the lovely Narita Savoor, Taylor Blakes' guest photographer. Naritas’ unusual name was actually inspired by a Japanese Airport, but it is a name that we predict will be remembered for more than just that.

Narita's passion for photography began when she stumbled upon her grandmother’s old film camera and what began as a hobby involving groups of teenage girls having fun in front of the lens, soon transpired into a passion. This has led her onto a path that sees her currently in her second year studying for a BA Hons in fashion photography at Manchester University.

Having worked with publications such as Vogue Deutschland and Atlas Magazine and seeing her work published online and in print, Narita is no stranger to prestigious work. So, when she saw our collection for the first time she jumped at the chance to be part of our debut line 'Capture'. And as a true pro, was unfazed by a brief that included oversized brazil nuts, multiple mousetraps and snake charmer baskets!

I don’t think we need to wish Narita good luck for the rest of her studies. She is an up and coming talent and we are sure she will have a long and illustrious career doing what she loves most. Happy snapping Narita!
